Excellent Guide March 28, 2008 Randy Kadish (New York, NY) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Excellent learning guide. Like the title says, the book takes you step-by-
step through Microsoft Office. The instructions are very easy to follow. The book also has summary sections, so you can brush up without actually being on the computer.
I'm very pleased.

Step by Step Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 book October 4, 2008 Gerald R. Graczyk (Rehoboth Beach, DE - USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I found this book to be most valuable in using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. It describes and teaches you the skills you need to use this program more efficiently.
Even if you used this program before, which may have been an older program, it will be a big help to you.
The CD that came with it is a plus especially for new users.
Sincerely,
Mary Graczyk

I have found that this book helps immensely with the Office Home and Student software from Microsoft. The book is also published by MS which assures you that they both work in concert with each other.
But, beware of the pitfall I encountered. The book comes with a CD. Make sure when you get the book, you remove the CD and place it in your optical drive to assure yourself it works. The CD contains practice files which can be used with each of the four parts of the software namely, Word,Excel,PowerPoint, and OneNote.I had a defective CD,which upon a phonecall was replaced by Amazon. I did have to call Microsoft for some guidance, which they provided! Other than that,it(book) is a wonderful additive to working with the software. Steve

This is a very well written and organized book. It has given me a lot better understanding of Word, Excel, Power Point, and One Note 2007 editions. I highly recommend this to all novice and technologically challenged individuals.
