I am a new user of Microsoft Publisher 2007 and I have lots to learn, but the Quick Source Guide has been very, very helpful to me...and well worth the price of the guide.
Useful and handy February 25, 2009 I. Peters (Dallas, TX USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This reference card is useful to keep on my desk, although having worked with Publisher since version 97, I'd say that this reference card is more so geared towards the beginner, maybe the intermediate user. Advanced users probably already know 90 % of the information if not all of it.
When I bought this guide, I really would have liked to see beforehand what information the card actually contained. To make this easier for others, here is what the guide provides (section headers):

As with other such reference guides, it would have been nice if this product were laminated. While the paper is sturdy, I can already see a few dents and bent corners, so a one star deduction for that.
All in all a useful guide though.
not the best January 20, 2009 Lucy Kaufman 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This does not detail, in easy to understand form, very much for the average computer user. My needs were simple, greeting card design, but this did not really show me how to do what I wanted.
Not too good for new user ... August 15, 2009 James Clayton (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm a brand new user of MS Publisher. I purchased four books/pubs that I thought would be enough to help me get going on a new key project and new job for me. The first time I used the "QUICK Source" reference card, it screwed me up due to an error! I wanted to create a template from a prior person's document so I followed the instructions at the bottom of page 1 --- "Saving a Publication as a Template". As soon as I entered "SAVE" (as instructed on line 1), I overlayed the document with a newer version of this MS Publisher (2007 overlayed a 2000 version) and I lost the original document. It should have read: "SAVE AS". Now I don't trust the Quick Source card anymore and I think I wasted my money! How about proof reading your own documents?!?! Jim Clayton --- irate user!
